2018 IEEE PES T&D Conference and Exposition

IEEE PES T&D Conference and Exposition is hosted by Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). The exposition, founded in 1964 and held every two years, is the largest show in electric power industry in the United States at present and attracts numerous well-known enterprises from more than 30 countries in the world. The exhibits represent the latest achievements and the state of the art in power transmission and distribution industry in the world. Visitors to this exposition came in an endless stream, and there were more than 30,000 electrical engineers from the United States and other countries visiting the exposition.
In order to have a deeper understanding of the US and surrounding markets, Mr. Dou Gang, President of Dalian Insulator Group Co., Ltd, led a sales team of five people to attend the exposition. The "three arrows" brand mark of Dalian Insulator was very striking and attracted an endless stream of visitors. Mr. Dou had a warm conversation with the visitors and exchanged market information. He also visited the stands of other manufacturers for learning and communication.
According to foreign market research institutions, the market size of US power transmission and distribution equipment is expected to reach $33.4 billion in 2019, with an average annual growth rate of about 5.5%. The growth of generating capacity of independent power producers and non-utility power plants as well as the increase of generating capacity of renewable energy are the main reasons for the growth of demand for transmission and distribution equipment, and we are in the hope of making a breakthrough in the exploitation of American market and striving for a new record in business through this exposition.
